Greenpoint residents are asking for the city to step in for a mentally unstable tenant at 40 Oak St.

"We are not the only victims of this man, this man has harassed others and children," said Patience, a neighbor who lives on the same floor.

They say 42-year-old Mark Creightney has been assaulting and harassing neighbors for the last four years.

Police say Creightney was arrested on Friday for multiple incidents including kicking a 29-year-old woman in the face.

That same day police say he forcibly touched a 41-year-old woman.

Neighbors say he's been arrested and released before.

"The system is failing not only him, the system is failing us, because we have to live with him every day," said Patience.
