A second person has been arrested for their role in a Shelton armed robbery, police say.
It happened on March 11 at the Shell Gas Station at 99 Bridgeport Ave.
Police say Collin Addiss drove a Toyota Camry to the station, while Steve Nakhoune arrived in a stolen pickup truck. Police say Nakhoune grabbed a shotgun from the Camry and entered the store. As News 12 reported, Nakhoune pointed the weapon at the cashier, demanded money and forced the victim to the ground before he left.
Police say an arrest warrant was secured for Addiss, charging him with illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a firearm. Nakhoune also faced a robbery charge.
Police say following the robbery, Addiss, Nakhoune and their associates were involved in a multistate crime spree throughout New England.
Nakhoune was arrested in March and remains held on a $750,000 bond
Detectives served their warrant to Addiss at Derby Superior Court on Tuesday. He was taken into custody without issue.
