Officers responded to the 690 block of Beechwood Avenue, where multiple ShotSpotter activations went off in the area.

A ShotSpotter uses audio recognition to alert police when shots are fired near the devices.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim with a gunshot wound, and they were brought to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment.

A second victim is reported to have driven themselves to Bridgeport Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating the matter.
