Three people were arrested after a brawl broke out during the CT State Gateway graduation ceremony Thursday, Bridgeport police say.
It happened at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater.
A widely circulating video on social media shows a chaotic scene that unfolded as graduates walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. The video shows people kicking and punching others, along with chairs being thrown.
It's not clear what caused the brawl but police say the incident involved at least two unrelated families.
Police say two of the three people arrested have been charged with assault of a public safety officer and breach of peace. A third person was charged with breach of peace.
