Meteorological summer is off to a dry and comfortable start. The first day of June is forecast to reach the low-70s under sunny skies. Winds should remain calm out of the north and gradually transition out of the east. There is a small chance of a spot shower this afternoon. With high pressure dominating the forecast for this first full week of June, expect a week filled with great beach weather.
But, for Monday, keep in mind the risk! Coney Island and Manhattan Beach do have a moderate rip current risk for Monday. By Tuesday, the risk should lower, but temperatures are forecast to increase. By Tuesday afternoon, high temperatures should be around the mid-70s. Wednesday should be in the low-80s and, by Friday, expect the low-90s in the afternoon with sun!
TODAY: Sunny with highs in the low-70s.
TONIGHT: Clear with lows around the mid-50s.
TUESDAY: Sunny with highs in the mid-70s.
