After a chilly start on Tuesday, temperatures will rise into the mid-70s for the afternoon. A warm temperature of 80 is on the way starting Wednesday. The second half of the week then really heats up. Summer officially starts on June 21, but this week will rival something the region would feel in July as temperatures soar into the upper 80s for a couple of days.
Not much rain will fall this week, there is a slight risk of a passing shower again Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon but most areas will stay dry. There is a better chance of rain over the weekend.
