A Norwalk quilting boutique found a creative way to celebrate America's 250 birthday.
Last month, Christie's Quilting Boutique asked its customers to make projects out of fabric that was smaller than 20 x 20 inches. They received 18 projects.
Customers have until Thursday at 3 p.m. to visit the store on Main Street and vote for their favorite.
The winner will be announced Friday and receive a $500 gift card.
"It's America's 250 birthday. I thought we have to do something to help celebrate and to just enjoy the festivities and everything going on. And of all our people are so patriotic and we love America. And we just wanted to do something to make it more fun," says owner Christine Hughes.
People who vote are also in the running to receive a gift card.
