Local content creator gives away over $15,000 of rewards to students

A local content creator Mike Squires hosted a giveaway for Stamford students at the Stamford Town Center.
Squires wanted to recognize students who had good or improved grades.
He made a previous post saying that he would give away $1,000 to students.
He said that, thanks to donations from local businesses, that amount went well over $15,000 dollars by the end of the week.
Hundreds of students lined up outside of the Hey Stamford! store in the town center, ready to show their grades.
There were a variety of prizes, and Squires said that he would do whatever he can to make sure that everyone walked out with something.
He grew emotional at the turnout, saying he was grateful for the opportunity to appreciate their students and give back.
