Multiple people were taken to hospitals after a crash on the Merritt Parkway in Westport this weekend.
The crash happened Saturday night on the northbound side of the parkway between exits 17 and 20.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and treated several occupants before transporting them to area hospitals.
The extent of the injuries has not been released.
Part of the Merritt Parkway was temporarily shut down as first responders assisted those involved and worked to clear the roadway.
The highway has since reopened.
