A Bridgeport man is facing multiple drug charges after Milford police say they discovered a large quantity of narcotics during a traffic stop on Naugatuck Avenue Saturday night.

Police said officers stopped a silver Infiniti with a misuse license plate around 8 p.m. on July 25.

The investigation led to the arrest of 24-year-old Elijah Crowell, who is charged with operating a drug factory, multiple counts of possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, possession of prescription pills not in their original container, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with an officer.

According to police, officers seized MDMA, cocaine, Adderall, Xanax, LSD, marijuana, a mushroom substance, unidentified pills, and drug paraphernalia. Crowell was held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 25.
