Democratic primary in Bridgeport probate judge race draws scrutiny amid allegations against challenger's brother

The race for Bridgeport probate judge has taken a dramatic turn following a state election complaint alleging ballot tampering by former state Sen. Dennis Bradley.
The complaint was filed by a local senior citizen against Bradley, who is the brother of primary challenger Mark Bradley.
Dennis Bradley was convicted in March by a federal jury on six counts of election fraud and wire fraud.
Incumbent Judge Paul Ganim released home security video showing a recent encounter between Dennis Bradley and the senior citizen behind the complaint.
The voter alleges that Bradley tampered with her ballot by changing her vote. Ganim claims this incident is part of multiple voting violations.
"It's disgusting, it's wrong, it's illegal," Ganim said, adding, "This court is to stand up for our seniors, is to back our seniors, to make sure our seniors are protected, not exploited!"
Dennis Bradley declined to comment on the allegations. However, his supporters continued to campaign during early voting at the Morton Government Center. Campaign representative Tony Barr categorically denied any wrongdoing.
"They set him up," Barr said. "When you're losing as bad as Paul Ganim is losing, you'll try anything and everything."
Multiple investigations into the matter are currently underway.
