There will be mostly sunny conditions this mid-morning as the rain breaks away. It remains very warm and muggy throughout the day and mostly for the week ahead. There will be a quick round of thunderstorms tonight after 4 p.m. lasting through sunset and fizzling offshore by 9 p.m. Today's highs reach near 85 degrees.

Tonight's weather is gradually improving with slightly lower humidity tomorrow. It remains very warm, though, with highs reaching near 89 degrees. It will be very sunny.

The sunshine continues into Wednesday with very nice conditions. Highs reach near 90 degrees. Thursday's the next day that we're watching for active weather as a mostly sunny sky gives way to sun and clouds and afternoon scattered showers and storms. The weekend looks fair at a glance with a mix of sun and clouds and a few rain showers on Saturday.
