A new chapter begins today as hundreds of first-year students move into Quinnipiac University dorms in Hamden.

Around 600 students are getting settled into their new rooms on the Mount Carmel Campus.

The students will spend the day becoming familiar with campus and preparing for the start of the academic year.

They will also take part in programs designed to help them transition to university life.
