Three juveniles were hospitalized after an e-bike and vehicle collided in Milford on Thursday.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bic Drive and Naugatuck Avenue.
Emergency crews responded after receiving 911 calls reporting that three young males on an e-bike had been struck by a vehicle.
Two of the juveniles were found injured in the roadway when firefighters arrived.
One juvenile suffered head, facial and lower left leg injuries and was taken to the hospital as a priority-one patient under advanced life support care. Officials said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
A second juvenile was treated for minor injuries to the arms and legs.
A third juvenile initially left the scene on foot but was located a short time later and treated for minor scrapes and bruises.
All three juveniles were transported to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The intersection remained closed for about an hour and a half.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
