An alcohol-related hit-and-run collision near SeaWorld in Orlando resulted in the death of 29-year-old Nealson Carrasquillo, of Bridgeport, and left his 23-year-old fiancée, Jalissa Velazquez, critically injured.

Authorities say the suspect, 19-year-old Christopher Laureda, was intoxicated and deliberately ran red lights while occupants in his vehicle treated the reckless driving as a game.

Velazquez's aunt, Francheska Velazquez, said the family is devastated.

"They went on a getaway vacation to celebrate an anniversary, and they never came back," she said.
