A man was shot in the leg in Bridgeport late Sunday night, police said.
Bridgeport's Emergency Operations Center received multiple calls around 10:12 p.m. reporting a man bleeding from the leg.
Officers responded and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound near North Avenue and Lindley Street.
Police said the injury was not considered life-threatening.
The victim was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.
One person has been detained, according to police.
