The daughter of a Bridgeport woman who was killed by a hit-and-run driver last year says she's grateful police have made two arrests in the case.
"I want to thank them for all of their help - they did an amazing job and I'm very grateful," said Julia Harris.
Jahmeir Tillery, 20, and Ti Norfleet, 21, both of Bridgeport, were taken into police custody following an extensive investigation into the July 2025 death of Zandrea Harris, 49.
Tillery, the alleged driver of the white four-door sedan involved in the crash, is being held on a $750,000 bond.
Norfleet, the alleged passenger, faces a $150,000 bond.
According to Bridgeport Police, Harris was pushing a shopping cart near the intersection when she was struck by the sedan.
