Heavy rain hit several Connecticut communities early Sunday morning, which resulted in flooded streets and roadways.
Water rushed down the streets and rose in low-lying roads all over Fairfield. It even flooded the outdoor dining area at BE Chocolat at Greenfield Hill Commons.
Marlborough Terrace residents also felt the flooding impacts.
A video from a News 12 viewer on Melville Avenue showed their backyard flooded.
The viewer said a lot of people in the area dealt with similar issues.
News 12 Reporter Greg Thompson sent a video of Downtown Darien which shows some cars had water up to their windows.
Some of the roads also had to be shut down due to the high water level.
Norwalk residents saw several roads under water as well.
Photos from the Norwalk Police Department show flooded streets during the height of the storm.

Police also reminded drivers not to drive through standing water.
Video from the Westport Fire Department shows flooding in the area of Post Road and Imperial Avenue.
Westport police warned residents that the water on some roads was deeper than what it appeared.
The fire department said emergency responders had to rescue 13 people who were trapped in vehicles by floodwaters.
