Stamford OnlyFans content creator pleads guilty to tax evasion
Federal prosecutors say Seathra Orr made more than $3 million through content posted on the subscription-based platform but never filed tax returns or paid taxes on that income.

A 39-year-old OnlyFans content creator from Stamford pleaded guilty on Tuesday to tax evasion for not paying years' worth of taxes on her millions of dollars in earnings.
Federal prosecutors say Seathra Orr made more than $3 million through content posted on the subscription-based platform but never filed tax returns or paid taxes on that income.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Orr used multiple business names, obtained 12 Employer Identification Numbers, opened 11 business bank accounts and eight personal accounts and moved money between them in an effort to hide income and evade paying taxes.
Officials say she now owes the Internal Revenue Service more than $1 million. Prosecutors allege Orr spent the money on personal expenses, including rent on an apartment, a luxury vehicle and more than $110,000 worth of jewelry.
"Today’s guilty plea should send a strong message to all content creators, pay your fair share of taxes or will find you and ensure that you are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” said IRS-CI Special Agent in Charge Thomas Demeo. "Advances in technology have allowed anyone the opportunity to become an overnight sensation and potential millionaire, but all content creators must remember that all income is taxable income."
