A bicyclist is in critical condition after a crash in Torrington.

Police say the crash happened Tuesday at the intersection of South Main Street and Litchfield Street.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries.

The driver of a Jeep Cherokee was not hurt and is cooperating with the investigation.

No charges have been filed.

Police are asking anyone with information or video of the crash to come forward.
