The wind changes direction from the northeast to the north-northwest by late tonight, which helps to drain the water from the back bays. High temperatures will be in the mid-60s, so it still feels cool as well. This is short-lived as a warmup is expected through the week.
Mostly sunny conditions arrive for tomorrow and last through Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday's high temperatures jump into the 80s with a surge of warmth and humidity that arrives for the late week.
Active weather makes a return for the weekend with a period of showers Friday night into Saturday. Another batch of rain hits on Sunday.
