FORECAST:

Warmer and muggier conditions arrive for the remainder of this week as temperatures warm back into the 70s today and the 80s for tomorrow and Friday. The warmer weather that's arriving for the end of the week prefaces a front that will slide across the state on Friday night into early Saturday. This front drops only lighter, broken showers that pass through briefly. The front is expected to pass after 6 p.m. and end sometime overnight.

Saturday is trending better - sunny and fair with highs in the lower to mid-70s. It is also trending better for Sunday with a lower chance for rain as the front clears the area almost completely. This prevents stormy weather from entering the state for Sunday. There might be a few lighter rain showers south, but that would be it. 

The fall foliage report shows that the trees are beginning to change colors north and west.
