Two people suspected of dealing drugs throughout Norwalk were arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop.
Police say they had been conducting a monthlong investigation into Charles Piazza and Melissa Kozma for selling large quantities of narcotics.
An officer and police K9 conducted a search of their vehicle after pulling the duo over near Spring Hill Avenue and Loomis Street.
Police say they found cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, ecstasy pills, Oxycodone, suboxone and methadone.
They also found drug packaging material such as scissors, scales, razorblades and other objects.
Some of the charges against Piazza include multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory.
Kozma is facing many of the same charges, according to investigators.
Police say they are both due back in court on Oct. 14.
