WHAT TO KNOW

Cooler, cloudy and even some showery, unsettled weather is on the way. The track record regarding Sunday weather hasn't been so good lately here in New Jersey. This weekend is no exception - but it certainly won't be as bad as last week's nor'easter. This afternoon will feature some scattered showers and cooler temperatures that don't rise out of the 60s.

The old cold front that is currently sitting to the south of New Jersey will head back northward a bit as an area of low pressure develops. This will bring clouds and even some rain back north during the day. The best chance at seeing rain will be along and south of I-195 but there is still a good chance some showers may break out farther north too. Not much rain will fall and it looks like it's well under .25' for most.

The coldest air of this fall season arrives Tuesday morning. Northwest neighborhoods north of I-78 could be looking at the first real shot at widespread frost. Think about protecting the plants for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
