Three men face charges following a shooting in Stamford, police say.
On Sept. 6, police responded near Mission and West streets for reports of gunshots.
Officers found a man who was shot. They were taken to Stamford Hospital, where it was determined he was shot in the abdomen and the arm.
Detectives say the victim and his friend were walking on Mission Street when a man dressed in black approached them, asked for the victim's name and fired multiple shots.
Video evidence obtained by police led them to identify the three suspects as Terrance Summons, Davell Cotterell, and Danny Turkvan Jr.
Police say Summons, 31, was the alleged shooter.
On Sept. 17, nine search and seizure warrants were executed with help from the Bridgeport Police Department and the Stamford Special Response Team and targeted the trio, their vehicles and homes.
Six firearms were seized and the three were arrested.
Summons was charged with assault, conspiracy to commit assault, criminal possession of a firearm and unlawful discharge of firearms.
Cotterell and Turkvan Jr. were both charged with conspiracy to commit assault and assault in the first degree as an accessory.
