FORECAST:
Temperatures won't feel as cool waking up Friday. Lows will settle into the 40s and 50s with a mostly clear sky and light southwest winds. A cold front is on the way, and until it crosses, temperatures stay on the milder side. It will bring some changes for the weekend.
The cold front will pass through our area dry. No rain is expected. The winds will become breezy through the afternoon and then pull down cooler air at night. Temperatures will top out in the lower 70s during the day, then drop into the mid-40s at night. The weekend will stay seasonably cool with temperatures in the 60s.
Halloween will feature a mostly sunny sky with daytime temperatures in the lower 60s. The weather for the NYC marathon on Sunday will be very similar. It will be a cooler start in the morning, with 30s for parts of NJ and lower 40s in the city.
The dry stretch of weather looks to continue through most of next week. Look for more clouds, but we'll stay dry until about Thursday. Stay with News 12 New Jersey for more updates about next week's weather.
