At least 30 people have tested positive for COVID-19 at the School Sisters of Notre Dame, a retired nun community in Wilton.
The school is now closed, and town officials say of the 70 retired nuns, at least 30 tested positive for the virus including some staff members.
At the request of the Wilton health director, a Connecticut Department of Public Health COVID-19 response team was called in Monday.
Contact tracing is underway, and officials say there is no evidence of community spread within the town.
Neighbors who walk the property should discontinue doing so, officials warned.
News 12 reached out to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, but it had no comment.
