Trumbull police say five people were arrested, including two juveniles, Friday night following a fight and shooting in a movie theater parking lot.
Authorities said Saturday the incident was being treated as gang-related. The shooting happened outside the Bow Tie Cinemas on Quarry Road as films were ending at around 11:30 p.m., police say.
Deputy Chief Glenn Byrnes says employees heard gunshots in the parking lot while calling 911 about a fight. Three suspects tried to flee the scene, but their car was stopped by Bridgeport police.
Police say no one was injured. The three adults arrested are expected to be arraigned Monday.
