Hundreds of people from throughout southwestern Connecticut danced along the streets of Bridgeport Sunday, honoring America's discovery.
This year's annual Columbus Day parade rolled through the city streets. People of various ethnicities took part in the festivities. This year's parade featured the first annual street festival with a variety of Italian cuisine.
Columbus Day was being celebrated as a day of unity for the Bridgeport community.
