The cannabis business is booming in Connecticut.

The Department of Consumer Protection says combined sales of adult-use cannabis and medical marijuana totaled nearly $24 million last month.

The adult-use market recorded $12.5 million in sales during the month of June, while the medical marijuana market recorded $11.3 million in sales for the same period.

Adult-use sales began Jan. 10, 2023.
