Danbury is taking steps to make school buses safer by targeting drivers who illegally pass stopped buses.

Danbury Public Schools is partnering with Bus Patrol to equip more than 160 buses with AI-powered stop arm enforcement technology.

The new stop arms detect license plates and use video evidence to determine if a driver illegally passed a bus.
