The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is warning the public today of elevated ozone levels due to the extreme heat and humidity.
Elevated ozone may approach or exceed acceptable levels for parts of Connecticut lasting into the rest of the week.
The unsafe levels of ozone could become unhealthy for sensitive groups of people, like those with asthma or respiratory issues, and could make it difficult to breath.
