4 face charges after massage parlor prostitution bust

The managers of four massage parlors in Westfield are facing charges after a prostitution bust.
Qingxia Zhu, Jing Liu, Xiaoman Zhang and Michelle Gao were charged this week with promoting prostitution and promoting prostitution in a school zone.
A spokesperson for the Union County Prosecutor’s Office says that the investigation first began in December 2017.
Search warrants were issued for Chan Spa, Central Avenue Spa, Natural Massage Therapy and Sunny Spa, all in Westfield, and a fifth location in Linden.
Officials say that police also found around $16,000 in cash and other valuables.
The women face up to five years in prison if convicted.
