Bridgeport police have released the name of a 25-year-old Bridgeport man found shot to death in his car Wednesday.

Officials say Dawayne Cobb was fatally shot on Sunshine Circle and his body went unnoticed for eight hours, despite the fact that his car was running.

Family members says he graduated from Central High School, where he was a football star and went on to get his bachelor's degree in accounting at Iona College.

Cobb?s family is asking for the public?s help in finding his killer. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 203-576-1311.
