A Freeport teacher offered a series of free music workshops for educators at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.

Educator Stephanie Arnell is a part of TeachRock, a project launched by musician Steven Van Zandt that offers meaningful lesson plans at no cost to teachers or students.

Arnell spoke to News 12 about the importance of the program.
