Fairfield County was raising awareness about hunger over the weekend.
Stamp Out Hunger, a nationwide food drive, was hosted by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
In Norwalk and Wilton, people left donations by their mailboxes.
Volunteers then picked up and delivered those items to the Wilton Post Office and the Cornerstone Community Church, where they were unloaded and sorted.
All donations went to Person-to-Person, a food pantry in Norwalk.
Each month, Person-to-Person serves 800 families in Norwalk, Wilton, Weston and Westport.
In past years, the pantry has collected over 57,000 pounds of food.
