Scary moments for a swimmer in Fair Harbor on Fire Island who was bit by an unknown fish Saturday.

Police say a 35-year-old man was bit by an unknown type of fish just before noon.

He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries.
