Traces of a controversial herbicide have been found inside Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
The "Organic Consumers Association" found the ingredient glyphosate in 10 out of 11 samples of the company's ice cream flavors.
The herbicide is the main ingredient in the popular consumer pesticide “Roundup”, which is widely used in agriculture.
While the levels of the herbicide were well below the legal limit, the group says any presence of the product in ice cream is misleading and potentially dangerous.
