? Amtrak service was back on track Wednesday night after a train derailed near South Norwalk earlier in the day.
Authorities say the accident happened about 2:30 p.m. Around 230 people were on board, but none of the passenger cars were affected and no injuries were reported. Crews used a crane to lift the train back onto the tracks. The accident caused 30-minute delays between New York and Boston.
Nearby residents say they became aware of the accident when they saw streets blocked off and a large police presence. They say they're relieved the area is back to normal.
