The event will feature a 5K, a one-mile walk, vendors and activities for children.
The nonprofit supports more than 800 people with disabilities and their families from birth and throughout their lives.
Stamford resident Sam Parks, 23, is the official Ambassador of this year's event.
"it means so much to me because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and I can't wait to show my peers and my community the hard work and dedication that shows you can do anything you want," he said.
The walk/run is the nonprofit's largest fundraiser.
