Application period for Stamford small business COVID-19 relief grant begins today

City officials say one-third of the grants will be reserved for small businesses owned and operated by women, minorities, people with disabilities and veterans.

Stamford small businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are able to apply for financial aid starting Monday.
The city is offering a one-time grant of up to $10,000 for eligible small businesses. 
For-profit small businesses must be located or operated in Stamford in order to apply for the grant.
The businesses must also have less than 60 employees, including the owner; must have been in business since Jan. 1, 2019; must be owned by someone at least 18 years old; demonstrate the business was negatively impacted by the pandemic; and must have exhausted all funds from previous COVID-19 assistance for expenditures incurred through Dec. 31, 2020.
