The winds continue to rip through Connecticut, creating a deep freeze and slick roads for commuters.
One to 2 inches of snow fell across the region, as the snow system rapidly moved to the south and east, ending early Thursday afternoon.
An arctic blast is set to deliver frigid temperatures throughout the the next two days, and will drop close to zero north of the parkways and into the single digits along the shoreline.
Residents in Connecticut are being urged to wear extra layers of clothing to keep warm.News 12 Connecticut Weather Center
