The average cost of a gallon of regular gas today is up 6 more cents in Connecticut than it was on Wednesday, according to AAA.
Connecticut's average is now $4.475 compared to $4.41 just yesterday.
The price is also higher than the national average which is $4.318.
AAA says the Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to cause a surge in gas prices not seen since 2008.
Fairfield County has some of the highest gas prices in Connecticut at $4.52 compared to New London County, which has prices as low as $4.43
