The Bad Boy Records reunion concert Friday at the Barclays Center honored the late Brooklyn rapper Biggie Smalls.
Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs was joined by other Bad Boy Records alum at the concert.
Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams also named May 21 "Christopher Wallace Day." The rapper, who was also known as the Notorious B.I.G., would have turned 44 on Saturday. He was fatally shot in Los Angeles in 1997.
Adams presented Wallace's daughter, T'yanna Wallace, with a proclamation document.
"Biggie put Brooklyn on the map," Adams said. He added that the rapper's music helped raise the Brooklyn's profile to as far away as Europe and Asia.
A full Bad Boy reunion tour will begin in late August.
