A black-handed female spider monkey was born at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo on Dec. 18, 2025.
The zoo says the baby monkey has been under the care of its mother, Janet, and is now in need of a name.
All you need to do is pick the name you want and vote online. The choices are:
- Esperanza (hope)
- Mirabel (wonderful)
- Reyna (queen)
The names are inspired by the infant's natural habitat in Central and South America.
Voting is open until Thursday at 11:59 p.m.
The name reveal is Friday at 10 a.m.
