6h agoConnecticut's Beardsley Zoo has welcomed a new resident—Pilatus, a 1-year-old male red panda.
He arrived from the Chattanooga Zoo as part of the Red Panda Species Survival Plan.
Pilatus will join the zoo's current red panda, Ponya.
The zoo says the new addition supports conservation efforts for the endangered species.
