Beardsley Zoo welcomes two Bolivian gray titi monkey brothers

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo has welcomed two new residents: Rio and Tiago, Bolivian gray titi monkey brothers now living in the Rainforest Building.
Native to South America, titi monkeys are known for their expressive faces, long tails and strong family bonds. One of their most charming behaviors is twining their tails together while resting; a sign of affection often seen among family members.
"Welcoming new animals is always a special moment for our Zoo," said Dr. Jim Wharton, CEO of Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo. "These titi monkeys have wonderful personalities, and their unique and adorable habit of twining their tails together is just one of the many behaviors that makes them so much fun to watch."

Visitors can see the brothers in the Rainforest Building at the Bridgeport Zoo.
