An annual blanket distribution is underway in Orange.

For the last 16 years, Sue Yamaguchi, founder and director of The Blanket Fairy, has donated blankets for abused children.

She plans on giving away over 1,000 blankets this year.

The blankets go to the Connecticut State Department of Children and Families and other organizers.

All of the blankets are handmade by the organization.
