The Town of Thomaston is under a boil water advisory following a water main break Tuesday morning, according to officials.

Authorities say crews were able to get water back on, but it must be boiled for any sort of consumption.

First Selectman Richard Sileo says water samples were delivered to the lab Tuesday morning. 

“Once the samples have been analyzed and prove to be safe, CT Water will lift the boil advisory,” said Sileo. 

Results are expected back Thursday.
