2ds agoBridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim, Rep. Jim Himes and local merchants gathered in city’s Arcade Mall Tuesday to discuss and promote Bridgeport 200 – a shopping event designed to encourage support for local businesses during the city’s bicentennial.
Bridgeport 200 includes a passport with discounts to encourage shoppers to explore independent cafes and stores.
News 12’s Suzanne Goldklang was on Main Street with more on how the city plans to celebrate small businesses.
